Ben Heiskell

About Me

I'm a sixth year Georgia Tech student planning to graduate December 2009 with a bachelors in computer science.

I co-oped for five school semesters (2006-2008) with Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) in the Enterprise Systems Department (ESD). My primary role was the development and maintenance of the internal PHP web applications, but I was also involved in the administration of the Unix systems and Oracle database backends.

Currently, I'm working with Ada Gavrilovska on undergraduate research. At this stage, I'm mostly profiling the GViM virtualizing system. This system virtualizes a GPU by intercepting calls to the CUDA framework. The current goal is to have added async support to the system before I graduate.
